Review

Roses are blood red is the haunting story of passion and eternal love. This story revolves around two main characters named Vanav Thakur and Aarisha Shergil. Where Vanav is a neurosurgeon in Army and Aarisha is an M.B.A student. In this story, Vanav promises his "Ranisa" (a nickname given to Aarisha by him) to give her a love story that every girl desires but few gets. As the story starts moving forward Aarisha gets to know the things that happen in the past. 

This story tells us about the obsession with someone's absence.

The characters and the story is built and written amazingly. In this story violence and Self-destruction have been shown. This story shows different sides of Love like Obsession, Passion, and the power of silent love which may not be able to show in front of everyone but can be felt within. Some amazing and my favorite lines from this book are "absence

makes the heart grow fonder" and "When you take pain for someone, you start belonging to that person".

Since this story tells us about so many sides of love it is entirely your choice that which aspect you focus upon : the thorn or the blossom.

If you love reading thrillers I would recommend novoneel chakroborty's books. His books are filled with thrillers and stories of true love. I would give it a 4.5/5.
